RANDOLPH MAN DIES IN CAR;
Sjouke Posthuma, a life-long resident of Randolph and vicinity and an employee of the Central Wisconsin Canneries was found dead in his car at Randolph Saturday morning. Dr. Ambrose Kores, Dodge County Coroner, emoaneled a jury, which decided after hearing the testimory of one witness, that the death had been accidental and that it had resulted from monoxide poisoning. Mr. Posthuma had just had a radio installed in his car and it is believed that he was making some adjustments on the same with the motor of his running.
The funeral services were held at the Frieden Lutheran Church in randolph at two o'clock Tuesday afternoon with rev. E. A. Breling officiating. The remains were intered in the Randolph Cemetery.
He was born in the Town of Courtland, Columbia County, on July 28th 1908, and was married to Miss Dorothy Stegner on May 7th 1932.
Survivng are his wife; three daughters, Shirley Ann, Karen Lee and Joyce Dorothy, all at home, one sister, Mrs. John Kikkert, and four brothers, John, August, George and Eli Posthuma, all of Randolph. His parents and a brother, Henry preced him in death.
