Death
Hattie Blankespoor, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. M. blankespoor, who live south of Rock Valley, passed away at her home last Saturday.Although she had never been strong, she was not taken seriously ill until about four days before her death.
She was born on the farm home near Rock Valley, April 23, 1913, and was seventeen years and fourteen days old.
She has lived in this vicinity all her life and was a regular attendant at school and church services.
Besides other relatives, she leaves her parents, Mr. and Mrs. M. Blankespoor, and two brothers, Cornelius and Henry, and one sister, Celia, all at home with their parents.
Funeral services were held in the Christian Reformed church in Rock Valley Tuesday afternoon, and the remains were taken to the Valley View Cemetery.
