Billie Dean, 80, of Harrison, died Tuesday, Jan. 31 (2012) at Harrison.
Memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 3, at Roller-Christeson Funeral Home Chapel, with Brother James Smithson officiating.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 2, at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Hills Hospice House, P.O. Box 1927, Harrison, AR 72602.
The daughter of Robert and Bessie (Johnson) Grinder was born Feb. 1, 1931, at Searcy County.
She loved to quilt, camp and spend time with her children, grandchildren and family. She loved family gatherings and she had a real love of life itself.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Carthel Dean; five brothers, Pete Grinder, Perry Grinder, Carmen Grinder, Ray Grinder and George Grinder; and three sisters, Betty Taylor, Edna Baringer and Pearle Grinder.
She is survived by four sons, Eddie Dean, Ernie Dean, Kenny Dean and Danny Dean; a daughter, Greta Deakins; a brother, Haskel Grinder; 15 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
