Marvin Travis Castleberry was born July 7, 1931 at Flag AR. Travis served in the United States Army from 1957-1959. After serving his country, he moved back to his farm at Flag. In 1961, he married a pretty little girl from Fox, Juanice Holland Castleberry, and started a family.

They lived on his farm in Flag until 1966, when they moved to Fox. During their life together, they had 2 children. The first, a son, died at birth.

Travis held many titles in his lifetime. Farmer, School bus driver for Timbo School District, Employee at Flint Rock Shirt factory, butcher at NuWay Foods, but his most loved titles were husband, father, and grandpa.

One thing he knew without a shadow of a doubt was that "with God" all things are possible. He loved his church and looked upon the members as his brothers and sisters, and they completed his family.

Travis was preceded in death by his loving wife Juanice, his parents, Wayne and Clema Barnes Castleberry, and an infant son Michael Allen Castleberry.

Travis is survived by his Daughter and Son in law, Ronda and Clint West of Fox, Grandchildren, Jay and Emily Pepper, Valerie West, and Emily West; Great Grandchildren, Brennen Pepper and Ellanie Pepper, Brother in law Danny Holland and wife Jennifer and Niece Jeanette Solomon.
