ERNEST WAYNE RYDER

After completing college, Ernest went to work for Union Mutual Life Insurance, now UNUM. He started in 1962, and plans to retire soon. With his son Mark he has purchased 6-1/2 acres of the old Ebenezer Ryder property at New Canaan. They built a camp on it last summer, and you can look down from the camp to the river -- a very nice spot.
