He was still at home in 1891, unmarried, aged 27. In 1901, his age given as 36 (born 13 May 1864) he was farming alone in New Canaan NB. He finally married at the age of about 42. The family continued farming at Havelock, but moved later to Steeves Settlement, where both Oren and Dora died and are buried. Blois Corey mentions Oren at New Canaan in 1924, and praises him as a good woodsman. [Corey Book]
