One of the first settlers of Barnet, Vt. coming before 1773. Was the first town clerk. Not mentioned in his father's will. Listed in the 1790 Census as of Barnet, Crittenden Co., Vt. with 2 male adults, 1 male ch. and 3 females in his fam. Served in Rev. War as Ens. in Capt. Hall's Co., as Serg. in Capt. Bayley's Co., and in Capt. Barron's Co. Little is known about his fam. but he had several daughters, some of whom were married in Barnet. Name of his wife not known.
