GERALD "NEWT" BURTON DUNHAM

Gerald served overseas in W W II in Italy and Northwestern Europe with the 8th Princess Louise's (NB) Hussars. The regimnet's mascot at this time was a colt foind on the battlefield in Italy. They named her "Princess Louise" and managed to get her to the Western European Battlefield and eventually to Canada, where she led their parades for 30 years. [Alward Book]
