INDIAN BAYOU - Funeral Services will be Monday, January 3, 2011 at 11:00 AM at Indian Bayou Methodist Church in Indian Bayou for Billie M. Huddleston, 87, who passed away, Wednesday, December 29, 2010 at 7:00 PM at her home in Lafayette. Rev. Larry Maxwell will be officiating at her services on Monday. Survivors include one son, Byron and wife, Barbara Huddleston of Louisville, KY, one daughter, Virginia Ann Huddleston of Indian Bayou; three grandchildren, Marie Hamilton of Indian Bayou, Bobby Hamilton of Kingsville, TX and Chris Huddleston of Louisville, KY; two caregivers, Cynthia Smith and Rose Lilly. She was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, RB (Bob) Huddleston, Jr., her father, Lenox Burke and mother, Virginia (Belle) Foreman Burke; one sister, Margaret Neally; two brothers, Mitchell Burke and Charles Burke. Ms. Billie was a nurse and a devoted caregiver to family and friends all of her life, but most of all she was a loving mother, grandmother and friend. Those who took care of her loved her as though she was their own mother. Visitation will be Sunday 11:00 AM till 10:00 PM then Monday ,8:00 AM till time of services all in the funeral home chapel in Rayne, La. Burial will be in the Indian Bayou Methodist Church Cemetery in Indian Bayou under the direction of Duhon Funeral Home, L.L.C. of Rayne. Please send personal condolences to www.duhonfuneralhome.com.
