Funeral services for Albert Kuchar of Danbury will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, May 12, 2005, in the Palms Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Angleton Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Donnie Belote, Wayne Miller, Rodney Kuchar Jr., Mike Penry, Robert Joyner, Donald Meaux and Bryan Belote. Honorary pallbearers will be David Stovall, Walter Peltier Jr., Lonnie Lostak, Tommie Lostak, Pete Keillor, David Baldwin, Jack Garrett, Frank Kuhlhanek, Cruz Salazar and Richard Penry. Visitation will be on Wednesday evening at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Mr. Kuchar was born in Midfield, Texas, to Joe and Annie Mitchon Kuchar, on December 15, 1911. He was a Danbury resident since 1936 and a retired rice farmer. Mr. Kuchar passed away on Monday in Angleton. He is preceded in death by brothers, Julius, Bill, Jim, Ernest and August Kuchar; four sisters, Mary McGee, Lillie Walker, Emma Goode and Annie Laura Whitley; and a son-in-law, Gerry Griffin. Surviving are his wife of 621?2 years, Dorothy Kuchar; sons, Rodney Kuchar Sr. and wife, Pat, of Danbury and Gary Kuchar of Danbury; daughter, Donna K. Griffin of Houston; twin sister, Alma Wibye of Sacramento, California; four grandchildren, Rodney Kuchar Jr. and wife, Donna, Tracy Hobdy and husband, Miles, Tara Belote and husband, Donnie, and Michelle Miller and husband, Wayne; eight great-grandchildren, Jerri, Jacqueline, Wendy and Everett Hobdy, Savannah Kuchar, Bryan Belote, Griffin and Reynold Miller.
