Obituary: Vernelle H. Foreman, 82, of Nederland, Texas died Wednesday, August 29, 2007 at Christus St. Mary Hospital in Port Arthur, Texas. Vernelle was born April 6, 1925 in Indian Bayou, Louisiana to Robert R. Hoffpauir and Odessa Meaux Hoffpauir. She was a resident of Nederland, Texas for 46 years and a member of First United Methodist Church in Nederland and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star Chapter 1079 Nederland. Funeral service will be held Saturday, September 1, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at Levingston Funeral Home in Port Neches with Rev. Malcolm Monroe officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday, August 31, 2007 at the funeral home. She was preceded in death by two brothers and four sisters. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Herbert Foreman of Nederland, Texas; son, Roger Foreman and wife, Debbie of Nederland, Texas; grandchildren, Melissa Foreman of Wimberley, Texas; Jared Foreman, Caylan Daughrity, Rylan Daughrity, and Brelan Daughrity all of Nederland, Texas; great-grandchildren, Cade Daughrity of Batson, Texas, Justin Daughrity and John Gosset both of Nederland, Texas. 409-722-0253 (Published in The Beaumont Enterprise on 8/31/2007.)
