Burial
Obituary: Rayne-Funeral services for Irene Foreman Hoffpauir, 93, will be held on Wednesday, October 23, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. in Duhon Funeral Home Chapel, Rayne. Pastor Randal Willis will officiate. Interment will follow in Indian Bayou Methodist Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 22, 2013 from 3:00 P.M. until 10:00 P.M. in Duhon Funeral Home, Rayne, and will continue on Wednesday from 8:00 A.M. until service time in the funeral home. Mrs. Hoffpauir passed away on Tuesday, October 15, 2013 at 8:30 A.M. in a Vermilion Parish care facility. A longtime resident of the Indian Bayou area, Mrs. Hoffpauir was a member of Ebenezer United Methodist Church, and has previously been a member of Indian Bayou United Methodist Church. She was a highly skilled seamstress, and a wonderful cook. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Survivors include her daughter, Glenda H. Vizena of Indian Bayou; sister, Willa Boulet of Lake Charles, grandson, Kevyn Vizena of Indian Bayou; and great-grandchildren, Jarren Vizena and Alayna Vizena of Indian Bayou. Preceding Mrs. Hoffpauir in death were her husband, James Elwood Hoffpauir; parents, William and Ruth Cloteaux Foreman; sister, Lillian Foreman; brother, Jefferson Foreman; son-in-law, Jerry Vizena; and grandson, James Kyle Vizena.Endnotes
