Burial
Obituary: Rosemary Hoffpauir, 78, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 27, 2007. Funeral: 2 p.m. Saturday at Shannon Rose Hill Funeral Chapel. Burial: 2 p.m. Monday in Greenlawn Memorial Park in Port Arthur. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Memorials: Shriner's Childrens Hospital or Western Hills United Methodist Church. Rosemary was born in Thrall to Lonnie and Eunice Nolte. She worked for the Board of Insurance in Austin and typed a book written by former president Lyndon Johnson's mother about the president. She married Francis Hoffpauir in Nov. 1953, and they moved to Fort Worth in 1958, where she devoted herself as a housewife and mother. She was an avid bridge player and a member of the Masonic Daylight Group. Rosemary was preceded in death by her husband, Francis; her mother and father; brothers Frank and Dean Nolte. Survivors: Daughters, Debbie Cluka and husband David, and their daughter, Robyn, and Kim Smith and husband Larry, and their children, Heather and Dillon Smith; son, Greg Hoffpauir; sisters, Claudia Nelson and husband, Walter, and Kathryn Parker and husband, Joe; brother, Carl Nolte and wife, Gwen; sister-in-law, Lois Nolte; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
