Burial

Obituary: Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 25, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Geesey-Ferguson Funeral Home, Crowley for Callie Duhon Hoffpauir, 90, who died Tuesday, April 23, 2013 at 3:30 p.m. at Southwind Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Crowley. Rev. Loyd Singley, Pastor of Northside Assembly of God Church, will officiate for the services. The family requests visiting hours Wednesday from 4:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to service time. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery. Mrs. Hoffpauir was a native and lifelong resident of Acadia Parish. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great great-grandmother. She was a member of Northside Assembly of God Church in Crowley. Mrs. Hoffpauir is survived by two daughters, Jeannie Clement and her husband Calvin of Crowley, Betty Miller and her husband Richard of Crowley; one brother, Robert Duhon of California; seven grandchildren, Marlana Morgan, Alyssa Breaux and her husband Ray, Brandon Thibodeaux, Lamar Thibodeaux and wife Sandra, Dionne Thibodeaux, Crystal Leon, and Richard Voisinet and his wife Vanessa; seven great-grandchildren, Billy Brown and wife Mandi, Brandon Thibodeaux, Jr. and his wife Amy, Abby Sherwood, Blake Thibodeaux, Brooke Thibodeaux, Lance Thibodeaux, and Kennedy Leon; eight great great-grandchildren, Macey Brown, Mallory Brown, Peyton Brown, Tori Fruge, Jasmyn Guidry, Avery Isabella Lane, Brylee Thibodeaux, and Sarah Ontiveros. She was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil B. Hoffpauir; her parents, Ovinac and Lillian Fontenot Duhon; great-grandson, Albert Breaux; one sister, Lena D. Simar; three brothers, Wilbur, Curtis and Hilliard Duhon.
Pallbearers will be Billy Brown, Brandon Thibodeaux, Brandon Thibodeaux, Jr., Lamar Thibodeaux, Blake Thibodeaux and Richard Voisinet. Honorary pallbearers will be Richard Miller, Calvin Clement, Ward Ray Breaux, Bradley Mire and Brett Hoffpauir.
