Private graveside services at a later date, to be con-ducted by the Rev. Ralph Howe. Survived by wife of 65 years, Beulah Wells Pace Theriot, Baton Rouge; two sons, Dr. Edward D. Theriot Jr., Long Boat Key, Fla., and Donald C. Theriot, Baton Rouge; two grandchildren, Sharon Gail Theriot, Natick, Mass., and Dr. Julie Anne Theriot, Palo Alto, Calif.; two nieces, Sally Mancuso and Patricia L. Melancon, both of Lafayette; and a nephew, Richard D. Melancon, Lafayette. Preceded in death by parents, Eloi Denis and Marie Aglae Theriot; and a sister, Lucille T. Melancon. He was a member and one of the founding fathers of Trinity Episcopal Church.
