Obituary, Edward Dennis Theriot: A retired employee of Exxon Co. USA, he died Monday, Nov. 3, 1997, at his residence in Baton Rouge. He was 86, born June 4, 1911, in Gibson. Private graveside services at a later date, to be con-ducted by the Rev. Ralph Howe. Survived by wife of 65 years, Beulah Wells Pace Theriot, Baton Rouge; two sons, Dr. Edward D. Theriot Jr., Long Boat Key, Fla., and Donald C. Theriot, Baton Rouge; two grandchildren, Sharon Gail Theriot, Natick, Mass., and Dr. Julie Anne Theriot, Palo Alto, Calif.; two nieces, Sally Mancuso and Patricia L. Melancon, both of Lafayette; and a nephew, Richard D. Melancon, Lafayette. Preceded in death by parents, Eloi Denis and Marie Aglae Theriot; and a sister, Lucille T. Melancon. He was a member and one of the founding fathers of Trinity Episcopal Church.
