Obituary: KAPLAN — Funeral services were held at 9 am. Today in Our Lady of Perpetual Care Catholic Church in Leroy for Dalton J. Foreman, 40, who died at 4 pm Saturday in a New Orleans hospital. Burial was in the Abshire Cemetery of Rural Kaplan. Survivors include his widow, the former Alice Abshire of Kaplan, four sons, Donald, Charles ,Eldridge and Clyde, all of the home: one daughter, Darlene of Kaplan; two sisters, Mrs. Nolan Dawson of Sulphur and Glenda Faye Foreman of Kaplan; and one brother, Preston Foreman of Carencro. Mr. Foreman was a veteran of World War II and the Korean conflict and received full honors at a military funeral. Meaux Funeral Home of Kaplan was in charge of arrangements.Endnotes
