Obituary: Stephen "Bubba" Spell, Jr., 31, of Vinton, LA died Sunday, March 28, 2010 in his residence. Mr. Spell was born, raised and educated in Lake Charles. He was a graduate of LaGrange High School. Mr. Spell worked as an Industrial Electrician throughout South Louisiana and Texas. He was an outdoorsman whom enjoyed fishing and barbequing. He will be most remembered for his sense of humor. He leaves to honor his memory, his wife of ten years, Wendie Lormand of Vinton; three children, Bethany Faith Spell, Donavan Blake Spell and Trinity Hope Spell of Mexico Beach, FL; his mother, Cherry DeWitt Bebee of Lake Charles; paternal grandfather, Roland Spell of Lake Charles; three sisters, Carole "Kari" Herren and husband Patrick of Vinton, Holley Jean Spell of Baytown, TX and Melissa Ann Wilder of Lake Charles and many nieces and nephews. He also leaves his mother- in- law, Vickie Benoit of Vinton. He was preceded in death by his father, Stephen Grady Spell, Sr. and paternal grandmother, Evelyn Morgan Spell. Memorial services will be at 6:00 PM Friday, April 2, 2010 in the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. Brother Lee Perkins will officiate.
