Lowry; his uncle, Bob Gilmore; and cousin, Gary Guidry."On April 2, 2011, my oldest brother, Peter, found himself in an unfortunate situation that forced tears down many people's cheeks. Although he led himself to believe he was invincible, God wanted him for some good reason. I do not blame God for wanting him at all, for Peter was something truly special. He was a shining star. His characteristics, indescribable. He was much more than caring and loving. You cannot just claim him daring, because he had much more depth than that. You could never replace Peter with anything. His laugh could heal more than a broken heart, which means he will be more than missed."-Lily Lowry
"On April 2, 2011, my oldest brother's life ended. He was more than just a brother to me. He was more like a best friend, one who encouraged me to do good in school and was always there for me. He was like a shiny new penny in a stack of old rusty pennies. He was not only loved by me, but my whole family enjoyed his company and laughter. He could make someone laugh so hard even if they were crying before. He also had many friends who loved the daring yet caring and loving Peter. He is indescribable and I always wanted him around to make things even better. And we have to remember the lives he saved and even though we will miss him greatly, I am so glad he was a part of my life."-Grace Lowry
"When Peter was a young toddler, I would often ask, "Do you want me to hold you?". As he learned to speak, he would hold his arms out to me and say "hold you, hold you." One evening, Peter toddled up to me and said, "Hold you, hold you". As he settled on my hip, he pointed to the moon and said, "Moon! Hold it!" He was charmed and enchanted. Of course he could not hold the moon. Peter is like the moon to us now. We will remain charmed and enchanted, bathed in his other worldly light, and wanting to hold him so very much. Peter is now free. Peter is now home."-Melanie Lowry
