Connie Marie Demarest contracted encephalitis when she was in her twenties from a mosquito while living in Louisiana. She nearly didn't live through it. She was one of only two people in the state that got the deadly disease that year. Later in her life while in her 30's she was bitten by a brown recluse spider and that event also nearly took her life. This lady had a eventful and hard life. She is dearly loved and missed by her family. Another interesting fact about this woman is she never ate Pizza until she was in her twenties and after her first taste of this wonderful thing, she couldn't get enough of it.
