Renee Hoffpauir Klann, formerly of Reeves, has signed a one-year contract with the Omaha Wranglers of the Women’s Professional Basketball League.
Klann will report to Omaha Oct. 1 to begin workouts for the 1980-81 season. She signed with Omaha after also negotiating with the New Orleans Fillies. In her high school days at Reeves, Klann was a two-time all state selection and was most valuable player in Class C in 1974. She was the first girl to ever receive a full basketball scholarship to LSU in Baton Rouge where she spent her first two seasons.
