Obituary: KAPLAN - Funeral services will be held for Raphael "Ray" Richard at 2 p.m., Wednesday, February 27, 2008, at Vincent Funeral Home. Raphael Richard, 66, died February 26, 2008, at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center. Deacon David Vaughn will officiate at the service. Mr. Richard is survived by his wife, Bonnie Hoffpauir Richard of Forked Island; 3 sons, Raphael D. Richard, Jr. of Forked Island, Timmy Richard of Estherwood, and Jessie Richard of Forked Island; his mother, Bee Sonnier Richard of Basile; one brother, Greg Richard of Lake Charles; 2 sisters, Beverly LeFleur of Eunice and Brenda Richard of Rayne; 7 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father Joe Richard, one brother, Harold Richard, and one sister Parella Bellon. Funeral arrangements are conducted by Vincent Funeral Home of Kaplan.
