Erickah Dawn Prince, 14, a native of Lafayette and a resident of New Iberia, died Wednesday, May 19, 2004, in New Iberia as a result of an automobile
accident. She is survived by her mother, Rebecca Sundberg Hoffpauir and her husband Adam "Daddy," both of New Iberia; father, Rickey Paul Prince'bouton and his wife Elizabeth, both of Walker; seven brothers, Joey Toucheque of Lafayette, Adam Toucheque and Ryan Toucheque, both of New Iberia, Gabriel Prince'bouton, Michael Prince'bouton and James Prince'bouton, all of Walker and Derek Bouton of Houston, Texas; two sisters, Michelle Trahan of Lafayette and Alicia Toucheque of New Iberia; grandfather, Huey Hoffpauir of Baldwin; nieces, Jany Trahan and Kameron Save]]; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Erickah was preceded in death by her grandmother, Evelyn Hoffman Hoffpauir; niece, Desire' Trahan; maternal grandparents, Jerry Sundberg and Dell Sundberg; and paternal grandparents, Louis Bouton and Laura Rita Domingue. Visitations were held Monday, May 24, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Inter-Faith Fellowship in New Iberia, with funeral services at 2 p.m. at the church. The Rev. Zack Mitchell officiated the service. Interment followed in the Indian Bayou Cemetery in Indian Bayou. Donations may be made to the family to defray funeral expenses. Arrangements were entrusted to Ibert's Mortuary of Franklin.
