Gerald F. Kelley, Sr., 74, of Orange, died Tuesday, June 8, 2004, at his residence. Funeral services will be 4:00 p.m. today at Claybar Funeral Home in Bridge City. Officiating will be Deacon Eddie Blankenstein. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens near Bridge City. Born on January 18, 1930 in West Palm Beach, Florida, Mr. Kelley had lived in the Orange area for over 50 years. He was a retired production foreman with Firestone in Orange and he was an Army Air Corp veteran. Survivors include his wife, Penny Kelley of Orange; daughters, Kathleen Kelley Seale of Houston, Melinda Kay Morris of Beaumont, Mitzi Kelley Hays of Bridge City, Tanya Kelley Guillotte, Patti Claire Kelley, both of Orange; son, Gerald Kelley, Jr. of Port Neches; brother, Edward M. Kelley of Plant City, Florida; seven grandsons, four granddaughters, and one great great granddaughter. He is also survived by his mother-in-law, Maurine Fogal; sisters-in-law, Claire Covington, Pat Hoffpauir; brother-in-law, Robert W. Fogal, Jr. He was preceded in death by his grandson, Coltar Kelley.
