Obituary: LEONVILLE - A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Brenda Hoffpauir Luneau at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 2, 2016, in the St. Leo the Great Catholic Church in Leonville, LA. Reverend Ken Domingue will celebrate the Mass. Rite of Committal will take place at the church cemetery. Mrs. Luneau, a resident of Port Barre, LA, died on Sunday, February 28, 2016 at the Heart Hospital of Lafayette. Brenda worked as the Office Manager for Dr. Stacey Mayeaux for 8 years. She loved spending time with her family and friends. She especially enjoyed the time she spent with her grandchildren and her "grand puppy", Bailey. Brenda enjoyed the outdoors and enjoyed taking rides in the "Jeep". She was a loving wife, mother, daughter and grandmother who will be missed by all who knew and loved her. She is survived by husband of 12 years, Andrew Luneau, of Port Barre, LA; her father, Creighton Hoffpauir of Port Barre, LA; her sons, Shane Hargroder and wife, Stephanie, of Church Point, LA; Brandon Luneau of Houston, TX and her daughter, Brandi Carroll and husband, Francis, of Broussard, LA. She is also survived by her 4 grandchildren, Jackson Hargroder, Macyn Bertrand, Levi Hargorder, Kori Hargroder, her Yorkie, Kloe and her "grand puppy", Bailey. She was preceded in death by her mother, Vergie Stelly Hoffpauir. Visitation will be held at the Lafond-Ardoin Funeral Home of Opelousas on Tuesday, March 1, 2016, from 3:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. A rosary will be prayed at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The funeral home will reopen at 8:00 a.m. on Wednesday until time of services.
