Obituary: VILLE PLATTE - It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of Ethel "Jane" Hoffpauir, 78, announces her passing on Sunday, August 12, 2012 at Mercy Regional Hospital in Ville Platte. Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 13, 2012 at 1:00 PM at Ardoin's Funeral Home in Ville Platte. Rite of Committal will take place in the Old Crowley Cemetery with Pastor Kevin West officiating. Jane touched the lives of many during her many years as a teacher. A loving mother, sister, and grandmother, Jane leaves behind two sons Bill Hoffpauir and wife Debbie and Richard Hoffpauir both of Ville Platte, her sister Frances Cormier of Ville Platte, and her half-brother Jimmy Cormier of Eunice. Also left behind to cherish her memory are her five grandchildren and her eight great grandchildren. She now joins in heaven her beloved husband William Leroy Hoffpauir, her parents Stephen and Lillian Fontenot Cormier and her son Many Hoffpauir. At the request of the family, visitation will take place at Ardoin's Funeral Home in Ville Platte on Monday, August 13, 2012 from 8:00 AM until time of service.
