(April 13, 2003 Daily Advertiser) CROWLEY — Funeral services for George P. Hebert, 81, of Crowley, will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, April 14, 2003, at Geesey-Ferguson Chapel with the Rev. Joe Greenwell officiating. Mr. Hebert died at 5:45 p.m. Friday, April 11, 2003, at American Legion Hospital in Crowley. Mr. Hebert retired as a salesman from Byars Brothers Brick Co. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Florence Leger Hebert, of Crowley; two daughters, Sandra H. Foreman, of Lafayette, and Carole H. Hoffpauir and her husband, Richard, also of Lafayette; five grandchildren, A. Paul Foreman and his wife, Robin, Michelle Foreman Jones and her husband, Jeffrey A., all of Lafayette, Kim Hoffpauir Owens and her husband, Alan, of Las Vegas, Nev., James A. Foreman, of Lafayette, and Todd Hoffpauir and his significant other, Monica Landry, of Tampa, Fla.; six great-grandchildren, Morgan, Natalie and Maggie Foreman and Tyler, Garrett and Spencer Jones. Visitation will be observed from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. until services Monday. Interment will be in St. Joseph Mausoleum in Rayne. A rosary will be recited at the funeral home at 3 p.m. today. The family would like to extend a very special thank you to Mr. Hebert's two sitters, Lucy Smith and Alverta Douglas, and to Dr. M.N. Katira. Geesey Ferguson Funeral Home of Crowley is in charge of arrangements.
