Services for Milton Patrick O'Neal will be at 10 a.m. Friday in the chapel of Hixson Brothers, Pineville, with the Rev. J. Roddy Taylor officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Memorial Park, Pineville.
O'Neal, 73, of Pineville died Wednesday, Dec. 13, 2000, in Rapides Regional Medical Center.
He was a member of First United Methodist Church, Pineville. He was U. S. Army Air Corp veteran of World War II, serving in Panama, and a retired building contractor. He was preceded in death by his parents, R.M. "Doc" and Grace Smith O'Neal; two brothers, Lt. Col. Alvin O'Neal and Steven O'Neal; and two sisters, Clara Montgomery and Ellen Bonds. Survivors include his wife, Billie Tarver O'Neal of Pineville; three sons, Milton P. O'Neal Jr., Richard W. O'Neal and Randy G. O'Neal, all of Pineville; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be W.E. "Billy" O'Neal, Dr. R.M. O'Neal II, Jason O'Neal, Keith Higley, James L. Buchanan and Frank Campbell. Friends may call from 4-9 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. until time of services Friday in the funeral home.
