Obituary: Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Monday, June 21, 2021, with visitation from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Geesey-Ferguson Funeral Home Chapel for George Alton Perry, 70, who passed away June 17, 2021, in Brenham, TX. His sister, Rev. Linda P. Arceneaux will be officiating for the services. The family is asking for donations to be made to Hospice Brazos Valley, 302 E. Blue Bell Rd. Brenham, TX 77833 in lieu of flowers. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery. George is survived by four sisters, Elaine Perry Verdin, Linda Perry Arceneaux and her husband Dr. David Hartson, Harriett Perry Fretwell, and Muriel "Keke" Perry Fachan; and one brother, Don L. Perry, Sr. and his wife, Gloria Cavys Perry. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and many friends. Special thanks to his lifelong friend Dickie Simon for all he has done for George, and his longtime special friend Mary Jean Wilcox of Brighton, PA. After retiring from Crowley Post Signal George spent most of his time in his beloved Alaska. He is preceded in death by his parents, I.K. and Grace Stafford Perry; three brothers, Kenneth Perry, Preston Perry, and John Henry Perry; and one sister, Lorraine Perry Hoffpauir. Serving as pallbearers are Howard Cormier, David Hanks, Chad Perry, and Chance Perry; honorary pallbearers will be Don L. Perry, Sr., and Don L.
