Burial
Obituary: Susan Bolte was born on January 8, 1951 in Herington, Kansas and went to be with her Lord and Savior on June 10, 2018 at the age of 67. Susan received her Bachelor of Education from Southwest Texas University in 1973, her Master's Degree from University of Houston-Victoria in 1987, and a degree in Administration from Texas Women's University. She was a dedicated teacher, an Assistant Principal and finally a Principal before retiring from Providence Elementary in 2015 following more than 30 years of service.She was preceded in death by her parents, Warren & Eleanor Hoffpauir; and her loving husband, Merle. She is survived by her sons, Jason Miller of Dallas, Texas; Russell Miller of Leander, Texas; and Brent Bolte and his wife, Rachael, of Keller, Texas; and three grandchildren, Addison Miller of Leander, Texas, and Alexis and Luke Bolte of Keller, Texas. She is also survived by her sister, Judy Chappell and her Husband, Jim of Chanute, Kansas and her brother, Randy Hoffpauir and his wife Molly of Denton, Texas and their families. She is leaving behind her beloved best friend, Lois Mann, along with Lana Petrizzo and Judy Schwartz, friends of 30 years, and a host of other close friends, educators and quilters.Susan was a caring and devoted wife; a loving and supportive mother; and a doting Grandma. She cherished her family, was strong in her faith and held her friends close. She will forever be missed.A Celebration of Life memorial service will be held on Friday, June 15th at 11:00am at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 703 North Elm St., Denton, Texas with the Rev.
