Obituary: Anna Volking Hoffpauir, a retired Jefferson Parish teacher, died Monday at her daughter's home. She was 91. Mrs. Hoffpauir was born in Gulfport, Miss., and lived in Metairie for many years. She taught in Jefferson Parish high schools and middle schools. She was a volunteer at East Jefferson General Hospital for 25 years. She was a member of Munholland United Methodist Church and its Sunday school. She was a member of the Antiques Study Group, the United Daughters of the Confederacy and the Daughters of the American Revolution. She was the Outstanding Member of Metairie Women's Club in 1996.
