CROWLEY- Funeral services for Aline Abshire Hoffpauir, 27, of Kaplan, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 30, 2001, at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic
Church in Crowley. The Rev. Joseph Greenwell will officiate at the services. Interment will be in Abshire Cemetery in rural Kaplan. Mrs. Hoffpauir died at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 26, 2001, at Oschner Hospital in New Orleans. She was a graduate of North Vermilion High School. Aline was active in 4-H all of her years in school and continued to remain active as a 4-H leader until her death. She did volunteer work for many organizations and especially LOPA in her community. Survivors include her husband, Kirk Hoffpauir of Kaplan; her parents, Wayne and Christy Abshire of Kaplan; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Abshire of Kaplan; mother-in-law, Doris Hoffpauir of Crowley; godchild, Mary Abshire; and nephew, Matthew Abshire. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Aristile and Margaret Broussard, and her father-in-law, Wilton Hoffpauir. A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Friday in the funeral home chapel in Crowley. Visitation hours will be observed from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday and from 8 a.m. Saturday until time of the services.
