Obituary: RAYNE - Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 6, 2006, at a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Joseph Catholic Church for Megan Ann Hoffpauir, 21, who died Friday, Nov. 3, 2006, in Lafayette. Interment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery No. 2. Survivors include her son, Kelly James Hoffpauir, of Lafayette; parents, Patrick "Pat" and Ellen Zaunbrecher Hoffpauir Jr., of Lafayette; one sister, Hannah Claire Hoffpauir, of Lafayette; maternal grandmother, Margaret Zaunbrecher, of Rayne; paternal grandfather, Patrick Hoffpauir Sr., of Rayne; maternal great-grandmother, Helena Pharr of Rayne; six aunts, Claire Stegeman, Susan Reggie, Laura Paddock, Sarah Habetz, Denise Stutes and Debbie Chirolla; four uncles, Fred, Phillip, Paul and Bill Zaunbrecher; and 21 cousins. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Glenn William Zaunbrecher; paternal grandmother, Flo Hoffpauir; and step paternal grandmother, Vern Hoffpauir. Megan was a graduate from Acadian High School and was employed at The Body Shop as an assistant manager. A rosary will be recited today, Nov. 5, 2006, at 7 p.m. The family requested that the visiting hours be observed Sunday, from 1 p.m. until 9 p.m. and Monday from 8 a.m. until services.
