Obituary: Mary Patricia Hoffpauir Rayne, LA - A memorial service honoring the life of Mary Patricia "Pat" Breaux Hoffpauir, 84, of Rayne will be held on Sunday, November 22, 2015 at 2:00 PM in Gossen Funeral Home Chapel, Rayne. The family will receive visitors on Sunday, November 22, 2015 from 12:00 PM until service time in Gossen Funeral Home.Mrs. Hoffpauir passed away on Saturday, November 21, 2015 at 2:50 AM in a Rayne health care facility. A native of Rayne, Mrs. Hoffpauir enjoyed spending time with friends, fishing, and making crafts. Known as "Miss Pat", she provided countless hours of volunteer work to her grandson's schools. She never met a stranger, she had the gift of gab, and the memory of an elephant. The family wishes to recognize the exemplary care she received at the Rayne Guest Home by all levels of staff. Special thanks is extended to Terri Matte for always going the extra mile for her. Thanks also to Lamm Hospice and Stacy for making her last hours as comfortable as possible. Special thanks is also extended to Father Samuel Fontana. Your spiritual guidance was a treasured gift.
