Obituary: Funeral services for Dallas M. "Bubba" Morgan, 64, will be at 1p.m. today, Aug. 29, in Johnson Funeral Home. The Rev. Alan Trouille will officiate. Burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens. Mr. Morgan died at 3:10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 28, 1998, in a local hospital. A native of Crowley and resident of Lake Charles since 1961, he was the former owner/operator of Spur Gas Station. He was a Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Deputy for 20 years and was supervisor of the Sheriff's Office Maintenance Facility. Survivors include his wife, Elaine Richard Morgan of Lake Charles; three sons, David W., Troy J. and Kevin R. Morgan, all of Lake Charles; four daughters, Cynthia Faye Benoit, Vivian Marie Landry, Karen Elaine Dunaway and Anita Hall Hillebrandt, all of Lake Charles; one brother, John W. Morgan of Crowley; two sisters, Dewanna L. Mier of Groves, Texas, and Emma L. LeDoux of Crow Point; his mother, Carrie Belle Morgan; and 11 grandchildren.
