Death
Obituary: SULPHUR - Lois Perry, 84, died Sunday, September 16, 2007, in her home. She was a native of Sulphur, living here her entire life. She attended Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church where she was a Eucharistic Minister and a member of the Catholic Daughters. She loved to play cards. Survivors include her sons Randall R. Perry of Sulphur, John N. Perry and his wife Melissa of Richardson, Texas, and Joel M. Perry of Sulphur; daughters Rhonda L. Perry and Christine A. Perry, both of Sulphur; daughter-in-law Linda Perry; brother Edwin Granger; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Robert Perry; son Rex Perry; parents Frank and Tazie Granger; and nine brothers and sisters. Her funeral will be at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, September 19, in Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church of Sulphur. The Reverend Ernest Corriveau will officiate. Burial will be in Mimosa Pines Cemetery in Carlyss under the direction of Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 3 p.m. until 9 p.m. Tuesday with a rosary at 7 p.m. and from 8 a.m. Wednesday. Words of comfort may be shared with the family at www.mem.com.Endnotes
