Funeral services for Delta Maria Stutes, 77, will be at 1:30 p.m. today, Nov. 23, in Johnson Funeral Home. The Rev. Gary Evers will officiate. Burial will be in Prien Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation is from 8 a.m. Mrs. Stutes died at 9:48 a.m. Friday, Nov. 21, 1997, in a local hospital. A native of Indian Bayou, she moved to Lake Charles in 1957 and was a member of Glad Tidings Assembly of God Church. Survivors include two sons, Gene R. Stutes of Cameron and David A. Stutes of Sugarland, Texas; three daughters, Mrs. Ricky (Sylvia M.) Reasoner of Vinton, Mrs. J.R. (Dolores) Hodges, and Mrs. Johnny
(Mona Lynn) Duhon, both of Lake Charles; four sisters, Eva Gary of Indian Bayou, Eva Rayburn of Baton Rouge, Nola Russo of Deweyville, Texas, and Ella Gary of Crowley; 17 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
