We have Bray's B.D. as 1658 (David's data), abt 1670 (David's data), and before 1688. Also, have his marriage date as abt 1704 and as 1678 (David's data).

I finally decided to see if I could prove one way or the other if Bray HARGRAVE married Mary Hodge or Mary Hunnicutt as the printed records show one, the other, or both. Here are the results of my search:
Mary Hodge was the daughter of John Hodge and Margaret Phillips (who also married John Cooper and Augustine Hunnicutt Jr.).
Will of John Hodge: Surry Co VA Bk 2 Pg 212: wife Margett, two children James and Mary, wife's daughter Elizabeth Cooper.
Inventory approved by "Margaret Hunnicutt, relict of John Hodge dec'd". Return on estate made by Augustine Hunnicutt Jr in 1680.
Estate of John Cooper: Surry Co VA Bk 2 Pg 132 mentions Margaret Hodge the relict of John cooper dec'd who married to John Hodge
