There were two Lapointe girls born at about the same time to different families. Marguerite was born to Pierre Lapointe and Marguerite Meaux.... bt. 11 June 1827 at age 3 mths 25 days(Laf. Ch. v. 3, p. 4, # 11) and Marguerite born to Vital Lapointe and Marie Adeline Landry on 21 Jan 1828 (Laf. Ch. v. 3, p. 64). The Marguerite who married Charles is the daughter of Pierre, because her father and the rest of his children are shown living with Charles and Marguerite after the death of Marguerite Meaux in about 1851 (see 1860 census for Charles Harrington)
