She is buried under the name of Carrie Rudd Hansen at Wasatch Lawn Burial Gardens at 3401 South Highland Drive, Salt Lake City and it is believed that her name in Norway was spelled Kari. It is also believed that she changed everything she could about her Norwegian heritage
