Simeon BRADFORD
(9 Oct 1770 - 3 Nov 1841)
From the book "Meltiar Hatch Colonizer" pg.9 is a section on Wealtha Bradford who married Ira Stearns Hatch. It says "Simeon Bradford was married to Martha (Patty) True in Livermore, Oxford (now Androscoggin), Maine, on 22 June 1800. Wealtha was the second child of this couple and was born in Turner, Oxford County, Maine 1 November 1804. Her older sister was Lydia. In all there were ten children in the family, and it appears that most, if not all, of them were born in Turner, Maine. The youngest child, Laverna, was born in 1820 and died young."

!Simeon was a great-great grandson of William Bradford, second Governor of the Plymouth Colony. He was a former resident of Kingston, Massachusetts, moved to Farmersville, New York. They were among the earliest settlers there. Some evidence points to Simeon Bradford building the first good frame home where the Farm Station now stands, but it was later abandoned.
