Green Stevens is not listed in the 183 0 census of Owen County. Green and his wife named one of their daugh ters Jincy, and William B. and Amy (Halto m) Stevens named a daughte r Jincy E. Stevens in 1844. 1834: Green Stephens and Henry Stephen s (relationship unknown) became residents of Jackson Township, In dian a when they secured land there.
