BIOGRAPHY: Mary Ann's ancestors had come from Virginia to Indiana in 1 850, to U nion County, and later to Clay County, as had the Nees famil y. Four generation s of Wilsons had lived on the same plantation at A nderson, Greenbriar County, V irginia (now West Virginia) that was acq uired in 1796.
