Obituary: Mary Owens Rites To Be In Mooresville. Funeral services fo r Mary D. Owens will be Sunday at 2:00 p.m. at the Carlisle & Son Fune ral Chapel in Moore sville. The Rev. Walter Griffith will officiate . Internment will be in Caroli na Cemetery, near Jordan Village in Ow en County. Calling hours will be today f rom 7 to 9 p.m. and Saturda y from 2 to 9 p.m. Mrs. Owens died June 26 in Morga n County Memoria l Hospital at Martinsville. She was born February 6, 1899 in O wen Co unty the daughter of William and Loretta Mason Anderson. She was a me mbe r of the Baptist Church at Cunot and a member of the Moose. She w as preceded i n death by her first husband, Frederick Lucas, and by he r second husband, Arthu r Owens. Survivors are her daughters, Virgini a Pickard of Indianapolis, Barbar a Skirvin of North Vernon, Beulah So mers of Martinsville, Violet Rose of Indian apolis, and Omadean Steven s of Indianapolis; sons William Lucas, Phillip Lucas, Franklin Lucas , all of Monrovia. Oran Lucas of Mooresville, Harold Lucas, bot h o f Indianapolis, James Spears of Cincinnati, Lowell Sheese of Bowling G reen, and Earl Lucas of Seattle, Washington; sister, Lottie Raybolt o f Brazil; brothe r, Claybert Anderson of Lafayette; several grandchild ren and great-grandchildre n.
