Obituary: Terre Haute Tribune, page 2, August 21, 1950: Seelyville, In diana. W illiam A. Spears, 80 years old, retired farmer of Seelyville , died at 9:30 o'cl ock Saturday night at Union Hospital, Terre Haute . He was a member of the Bapti st church. Surviving are a daughter, Mr s. Flossie Keller of Seelyville; a son, Edward Spears of R. R. 5, Braz il; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Mae Stevens of Indianapo lis; a sister, Mrs . Alice McCreey of Clay City, and 15 grandchildren. The body was take n to the Miller & Sons funeral home, Brazil where services will be hel d at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon. Burial will be in Poland cemetery . Friends m ay call at the funeral home after 4 o'clock Tuesday aftern oon.
