Clark Wade Hemrick

BELEWS CREEK- Mr. Clark Wade Hemrick, 52, passed away surrounded by his family on March 2, 2013 after a courageous battle with colon cancer. Clark was born on December 3, 1960 in Forsyth County to the late Charles "Barney" Meredith and Frances Chambers Hemrick.
Clark graduated from Gospel Light Christian School and Piedmont Aerospace Institute. He worked for various automotive dealerships in the Triad. He also owned Clark's Auto Service and more recently Hemrick Performance, specializing in motorcycle performance and dyno tuning. Clark was truly an innovative mechanic and was well known for his theories and ideas. He was a former member of the WS HOG Chapter and Triad Pleasure Riders, as long as his health permitted. He and Martha loved riding their motorcycles in the Western mountains of North Carolina. Clark was a member of Morris Chapel United Methodist Church and the Adult Fellowship Class.
He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Martha Briles Hemrick; son, Dustin (Angel) Hemrick; step daughters, Ellen (Lee) Lingerfelt and Bethany Collins; step grandson, Avery; unborn granddaughter, Isabella Claire; sister, Karen Watkins; brother, Charles M. Hemrick, Jr.; two special sister-in-laws, Rebecca Tuttle and Ruth (Jim) Martin; numerous aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins; special friends, Ruth and Bruce Topping, Donna and Robert Hughey, Marty Baucom, Spencer Evans and Tim Brittian.
A funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM, Tuesday, March 5, 2013 at Morris Chapel United Methodist Church with Rev. Dan Lyons officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 PM Monday, March 4, at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel.
