Mark Allan Thompson, 48, of Bloomfield, passed away 11:15 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 28, 2009 at his son's residence in Bloomfield.
Born July 5, 1960 in Bedford, he was the son of Dallas and Kathy (Harper) Thompson.
He was a service technician for Maxwell's in Bloomington and attended Cincinnati Christian Church.
Surviving relatives include: his children, Michael Gene Thompson of Bloomfield, Sara Heumann (Greg) of Bloomington, and Amanda Thompson of Solsberry; parents, Dallas and Kathy Thompson of Bloomington; brother, Jeff Thompson of Bloomington; grandchildren, Madilyn Oliphant, Coleman Oliphant, Joshua Burr, and Jessica Burr; Good Friend, Cindy Starnes.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
Funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Wednesday at Cincinnati Christian Church with Rev. Henry Mann Jr. and Rev. Tony Stinson officiating. Interment will be in Springville Cemetery West.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. until the hour of services Wednesday at Cincinnati Christian Church.
Jenkins & Sons Funeral Home in Bloomfield is in charge of arrangements.
The family asks that all memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society.
