Carol L. Briles, 97, of Indianapolis, passed away December 22, 2011. She was born March 18, 1914, in Fountaintown, IN., to the late Murray C. and Theodocia A. Farley Liming. Carol married Russell Briles, who preceded her in death in 1989. She was a member of East Tenth United Methodist Church and a long time purchasing agent of various Indianapolis companies. Carol is survived by children, Robert and Miriam Briles. Visitation will be held Monday, December 26, 2011 from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at 1:00 p.m. at Shirley Brothers Washington Memorial Chapel, 9606 East Washington St. Memorial contributions may be made to the church.
