Death

Peggy Davis Farlow, 84, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 12, 2019.
She was a devoted wife for nearly 66 years to her husband, Byron Farlow, an amazing mother to daughters Denise Farlow Jones, Debbie Farlow Surratt (Scott), and special “daughter” Alicia Yee, a loving “Mamaw” to her grandchildren Ben Jones, Blair Jones Bresson (Joey), Lindsey Surratt Sommers (Chris), Tyler Surratt and Tara Surratt Gainey (Addison). Many extended family and loved ones also held a special place in her heart.
She was a talented cook and baker and enjoyed sharing treats with family and friends. She was a dedicated member of Marlboro Friends Meeting and served faithfully in the nursery, the choir, and many other ministries. She loved her work at New Market Elementary and Randleman High School and enjoyed spoiling her grandchildren post-retirement. Her family is grateful for the many wonderful memories of times shared together.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00pm on Tuesday, January 15, 2019 at Marlboro Friends Meeting Cemetery with Ministers John Sides and Ray Luther officiating.
The family will receive friends in the Marlboro Friends Meeting Family Life Center following the service.
