ANSTED -- Jennings Woodrow Briles, 70, of Ansted died Sunday, Dec. 28, 1997, in Raleigh General Hospital, Beckley, after a short illness.He was a retired supervisor from Anchor Hocking Co., Jacksonville, Fla., and a member of Ansted Baptist Church.Surviving: wife, Geraldine Holmes Briles; daughter, Evelyn Arlene Briles of Ansted; sons, Jennings Woodrow Briles Jr. of St. Albans, Gary Briles of Jacksonville; stepsons, David Smith of Glen Saint Mary, Fla., Jack Smith of Middleburg, Fla., Mike Smith of Jacksonville; sisters, Barbara Hayes of Naples, Fla., Judy Moody of Jacksonville; 17 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.Service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Ansted Baptist Church with the Rev. Victor Hayes officiating. Burial will be in Restlawn Memory Gardens. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today at Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home, Ansted.
