Edna Ruth Rothrock Campbell, 80, of Liberty Drive passed away on Wednesday, November 28, 2018 at High Point Regional Hospital. Edna was born on September 4, 1938 to the late Howard and Loretta Skeen Rothrock in Thomasville. She worked for many years as a sewer in the furniture industry and retired from Brayton International. Edna was a childhood member of Fair Grove United Methodist Church in Thomasville. She also attended Mt. Zion Wesleyan Church in Thomasville. Along with her mother and father, Edna was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Donald Campbell in 2004; her grandson, Howard Aaron Campbell; three siblings, Evelyn, Ernie, Ellen. Surviving are her two sons, Rick Campbell and David Campbell both of Lexington; her loving addition to the family, Anthony Ledford of Lexington; three grandchildren, five great grandchildren; extended family and friends. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, December 1, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Fair Grove UMC Cemetery in Thomasville with Rev. Nathan Snider officiating. The family will receive friends at the JC Green and Sons Funeral Home Friday night 6:00 to 8:00 PM.
